臥整巾簪起下牀

The window is clear,
Dawn’s light comes readily through the thin screen.
While still lying down
I straighten my headgear and its pin ornaments,
Rise and leave the covered bed.
A reflection from the night-lantern
Still falls upon the wall.
As I open the clothes-box the fragrance of the incense
Brings back the years.
Without feeling he left me
In another spring.
If I don’t get tipsy
How can I get through
This long day?
Let’s have one more song,
One more jug of wine
And sun ourselves together
In the new hall.
